Fresh Paint Brightens Mission Hills Library

Friends Building Improvement Project Underway

Change is in the air (and on the walls) at the Mission Hills Library. A welcome splash of color and the brightness of fresh paint are just the beginning for the Friends-sponsored project to improve the library building. The Friends appreciate the cooperation and support of the library administration, the San Diego Library Foundation, and the citys Facilities Maintenance Department in this effort.

Frank and others from the citys Facilities Maintenance Department have painted the ceilings and are rolling new color on the walls.

Hundreds of books had to be moved for the painters, a job accomplished by library volunteers like Nancy.
